Atrium is partnering with a property management company that focuses in commercial and industrial spaces. They have over 20 locations throughout the Greater Orlando area. Currently, they are looking to expand their team by bringing on a Property Accounting Manager.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k – $85k

Position Overview:

The Property Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting operations for 20+ properties. They will manage a team of junior accountants and assume full ownership of the monthly close process.

Responsibilities of the Property Accounting Manager:

  • Prepare month-end close reports for Property Managers.
  • Review P&L accounts and sales tax reconciliations.
  • Process accounts payable, refunds, sales tax filings, and vendor fees.
  • Handle insurance, lease agreements, and renewals for new and existing tenants.
  • Review balance sheet accounts, post entries to the general ledger, and account reconciliations.
  • Utilize QuickBooks and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Required Experience/Skills for the Property Accounting Manager:

  • 5+ years of experience in property accounting.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of accountants.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks software.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Property Accounting Manager:

  • Experience with commercial property management accounting.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or higher is required.
