Client Overview:

Our client is a full-service property management firm located in Corona, Queens. They are specialized in managing residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. Their experienced team leverages industry-leading technology and best practices to streamline operations. The company is growing, and they are looking to add a temporary to permanent Property Associate to their Corona Queens based team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $25/hr

Position Overview:

The Property Associate will work closely with the Property Manager to support all administrative tasks, tenant relations, financial support for various property types. The Property Associate will be required to work onsite 5 days a week in their Corona, Queens location. This role is integral to the daily operations of our properties and requires strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and a collaborative attitude. The Property Associate will help foster long-term partnerships, contribute to the efficient management of assets, and uphold the values and reputation of the firm.

Responsibilities of the Property Associate:

  • Developing relationships with residents and vendors.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports for senior management.
  • Overseeing property expenses.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, specifically Fair Housing regulations.
  • Learning the Property Management profession including Operations, Leasing, Legal, Compliance, Construction, and Commercial Property Management Professionals.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Required Experiences/Skills for the Property Associate:

  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and mange time.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in the Corona, Queens location.

Preferred Experiences/Skills for the Property Associate:

  • Proficiency in software for managing properties, leases, and finances.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and rent collection.
  • Prior real estate experience is preferred but not required.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
