Our client, a large financial firm, is looking to add an on-site Receptionist and Administrative Support to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$50k – $55k

Position Overview:

The Receptionist and Administrative Support must have a positive attitude and professional appearance as they are considered the first point of contact for visitors and clients.  Previous experience with general office duties, including word processing, spreadsheets, filing and scheduling are strong plus for the cabdudate. Our ideal Receptionist and Administrative Support will have the ability to interact with internal and external clients while maintaining an upbeat attitude. This role will also evolve to assist junior executives with clerical support (calendar/ expense management).

Responsibilities of the Receptionist and Administrative Support:

  • Manage high volume switchboard and direct calls to appropriate employees/departments.
  • Meet and greet visitors, seat them in reception and notify appropriate personnel of visitor’s arrival.
  • Greet everyone who enters or passes through reception area.
  • Provide answers and guidance to all guests and employees as needed.
  • Open and close the office on a daily basis (lights, security, doors, etc.).
  • Receive deliveries and packages as needed, when mail services is not available.
  • Provide backup support to Boardroom meetings, as needed.
  • Maintain visitor log for office & validate parking vouchers, as needed.
  • Receive via email and handle all facility requests by reporting to the appropriate area/person to resolve.
  • Manage special projects and tasks as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills for the Receptionist and Administrative Support:

  • 2 years receptionist or related experience in a corporate environment.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Windows skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
