Salary/Hourly Rate:
$55k – $65k Annually.
On average, employees earn approximately $10k in commission during their first year, with the potential to reach $30k by their second year.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter for Building Technologies to join our team. This position is ideal for someone passionate about recruitment, has a strong interest in building relationships with industry professionals and thrives in a fast-paced, candidate-focused environment. As a specialist in recruiting for low-voltage systems, including security systems, AV, and smart building technologies, you will play a critical role in connecting top-tier talent with leading companies in the industry. The ideal candidate will have previous experience recruiting for low-voltage, skilled trades, or similar roles and possess a keen understanding of both the technical and cultural requirements of these positions. Your ability to build strong relationships, manage multiple pipelines, and efficiently match candidates to jobs will be key to your success.
Responsibilities of the Recruiter for Building Technologies:
- Develop and maintain a strong candidate pipeline using internal databases, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Make a minimum of 50 calls per day to engage prospective and existing candidates.
- Screen candidates via phone and in-person interviews to evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and account executives to understand job requirements and provide recruitment solutions tailored to client needs.
- Facilitate the full-cycle recruitment process, including onboarding, compliance, and offer negotiation.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and maintain strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and labor market conditions.
Required Experience/Skills for the Recruiter for Building Technologies:
- Prior experience recruiting in the low-voltage, skilled trades, or construction/technical sectors.
- Strong interest in sales and account management.
- Proven ability to work in a high-volume, performance-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and goal achievement.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in our Holmdel, NJ office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
