Our client, a Global developer of specialty ingredients supporting the personal care and cosmetics industries worldwide. They are seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

Dependent on experience

Position Overview:

The Regulatory Specialist will provide updates and guidance for FDA regulations applicable to personal care and cosmetics products and manage projects in ensuring compliance in materials safety and sustainability. The Regulatory Specialist manage product registration in compliance to FDA and international regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities of the Regulatory Specialist:

  • Assist in providing updates to regulatory information inquiries from customers
  • Manage applications for certifications in sustainable and eco-friendly materials
  • Assist in evaluating SOP in compliance to green strategy
  • Assist in implementing best practices to ensure full compliance in R&D
  • Provide updates to management and staff in regulatory changes and new requirements
  • Manage database to ensure full compliance to up-to-date regulations
  • Implement training in subject matters for compliance and documentation needs
  • Assist in other regulatory projects assigned

Qualifications for the Regulatory Specialist:

  • Additional Regulatory Affairs training
  • Experience in Regulatory compliance and applications in the personal care/cosmetics industries
  • Experience in ingredients or raw materials safety and sustainability
  • Experience in international regulatory/product registration
  • Experience in training, database management and project management
  • Ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary groups (internal and external)

Education Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemistry or related science disciplines is required
