With a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction, they are expanding their team to meet growing demand. Currently, they are looking to add a Sales Account Executive to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$50k Annually
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a driven Sales Account Executive to join the team and play a key role in business growth. This individual will be responsible for building strong client relationships, identifying logistics needs, and offering tailored freight solutions.
Responsibilities of the Sales Account Executive:
- Business Development:
- Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities in the freight and transportation sector.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed growth targets.
- Account Management:
- Build, maintain, and grow relationships with existing clients.
- Understand customer needs and provide customized logistics solutions to ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Sales Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Clearly communicate the benefits and value of the company’s services.
- Market Intelligence:
- Conduct market research to track industry trends, competitor activity, and areas of opportunity.
- Stay current with changes in the transportation and logistics landscape.
- Negotiation & Closing:
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Close deals efficiently while aligning with company goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Work with internal stakeholders to address client concerns and deliver solutions.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer communications, and sales pipeline updates.
- Provide regular performance reports and sales forecasts to management.
Required Experience/Skills for the Sales Account Executive:
- Proven success in sales, ideally within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Results-driven, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel as required.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
