Client Overview:
Our client is a family-owned organization dedicated to building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service. They are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to support their expanding operations on a temp-to-perm basis.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr – $25/hr
Position Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist provides essential administrative support to the sales team, serves as the first point of contact for new customers, and delivers exceptional white-glove service throughout the ordering process. This is a fully onsite role, Monday through Friday, starting on a temporary basis with the potential for permanent placement.
Responsibilities of the Sales Support Specialist:
- Communicate with prospective and existing customers, set up accounts, and provide product information and samples.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks, email communication, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Generate and qualify leads, make outbound calls, and respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
- Maintain strong client relationships and assist with market research and sales initiatives.
- Prepare presentations, process sample requests, and provide basic quality documents and certifications upon request.
Required Experience/Skills for the Sales Support Specialist:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a client-facing role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, quickly learn detailed product information, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
