Salary/Hourly Rate:
$55k – $65k Annually.
On average, employees earn approximately $10,000 in commission during their first year, with the potential to reach $30,000 by their second year.
Position Overview:
Currently, Atrium’s Scientific division is looking for a team member for recruiting, account management, and sales. The Scientific and Supply Chain Recruiter will begin as a recruiter for contract and direct hire roles in a variety of scientific and supply chain disciplines and will evolve into a full desk position involving sales, business generation, and account management. The Scientific and Supply Chain Recruiter will be part of a close-knit team as well as a larger, regional division. This Scientific and Supply Chain recruiter will work alongside the team 3 days a week in our New York City office on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and will be available to travel to onsite client meetings in the Tri-State area as needed.
Responsibilities of the Scientific and Supply Chain Recruiter:
- Source potential candidates through job ads, job boards (CareerBuilder, Monster, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.), referrals, networking events, etc.
- Pre-qualify candidates and conduct interviews to evaluate skills, employment background, and qualifications.
- Recruit candidates for all levels and develop professional relationships with the candidates.
- Cultivate relationships with new business leads to generate business for the company, as well as with existing clients.
- Organize internal and external candidate interviews.
- Develop a database of candidates with a diverse array of skills and specialties.
- Brainstorm creative ways to attract candidates and clients to Atrium’s business.
Required Experience/Skills for the Scientific and Supply Chain Recruiter:
- Candidates should have a strong understanding and knowledge of the field of recruiting or a background in the sciences/supply chain.
- Candidates must be self-motivated and driven by friendly competition.
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years of proven success in recruiting is ideal.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to act as a strategic Business Partner to Hiring Managers.
- Can visit client sites in the Tri-State area.
- Must be a team player, collaborative, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Business-minded recent graduates with relevant experience will be considered for the Recruiter & Account Manager opening.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required without experience.
- A degree in Science (Biology or Chemistry), Life Sciences, or Health Sciences is strongly desired but not required.
- Education is flexible for experienced Recruiters/Salespeople.
