Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80,000 – $110,000 plus Bonus

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance functions and the month end close process. The primary responsibility of the Senior Accountant will focus on accounts payable, intercompany transactions, bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, and assist with cash forecasting, month-end close journal entries, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

  • Support the Accounting and Finance functions ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls
  • Preparation of monthly journal entries, and supporting schedules, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
  • Full ownership of accounts payable and employee expense report processing
  • Management of cash ledgers
  • Assist third party on annual Tax and Audit
  • Assist with ERP implementation
  • Maintain and improve processes and controls
  • Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of the Company’s financial information
  • Operate in a diligent and fact-based style; apply Best Practices where needed
  • Special projects as requested

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

  • Prior experience in progressively responsible accounting roles
  • Experience managing multi-company transactions
  • Successful history in overseeing Accounts Payable
  • High diligence and accuracy
  • 3+ years of overall accounting experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management is preferred
