Salary/Hourly Rate:

$75,000 – $90,000

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will be part of a diverse and high-performing Accounting Department, directly reporting to executive leadership. Key responsibilities of the Senior Accountant will include handling various aspects of financial operations, maintaining the general ledger, and overseeing audits.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations
  • Execute general ledger posting and reconciliation processes
  • Proficiency in sales tax reporting and state reporting requirements
  • Track fixed assets, annual 1099 reporting, and oversee workers’ comp and GL audits
  • Manage multiple miscellaneous projects and prepare documentation for external auditors

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

  • 2 to 3+ years of equivalent work experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Intermediate Excel)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant experience is mandatory is required
