Our client is a technology consulting firm. They provide tailored business development services to drive sustainable success for their clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$75k- $90k Annually

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. This position will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports for management.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Coordinate audits and manage tax filings.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial initiatives.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite software is required.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

  • Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with financial modeling and analysis.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
