Client Overview:

Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing business solutions organization based in NJ, looking for their next Senior Accounting Analyst. An individual with past accounting and financial analysis experience is a huge plus.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$35/hr – $40/hr

Position Overview:

The Senior Accounting Analyst will be responsible for senior accounting duties and will take on ad-hoc analysis and reporting responsibilities. Senior Accounting and advanced Excel experience are needed. The Senior Accounting Analyst will need to have the ability to work in a team setting. A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in general accounting with advanced technical skills is a must. Experience with NetSuite is a must. 

Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Analyst:

  • Month-end reporting and closing.
  • Assisting with the monthly reconciliation process.
  • Supporting new software implementation.
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accounting Analyst:

  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel – pivot tables & macros.
  • NetSuite and accounting experience are needed.
  • Prior exposure to a larger ERP system.
  • High attention to detail.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accounting Analyst:

  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis.

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required.
