Our client is a public accounting firm that has an excellent work-life balance and has attracted talent from larger firms to help them identify a Senior Auditor to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $100k

Position Overview:

The Senior Auditor will be performing various audits and reviews for the public accounting firm. They will work with firm team members to perform effective audit procedures, as well as complete audit workpapers effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities of the Senior Auditor:

  • The Senior Auditor will perform audit procedures for various areas, including over cash, receivables, fixed assets, accounts payable and accrued expenses, debt, and several income statement accounts.
  • Analyze transactions and consider appropriate application of U.S. GAAP
  • The Senior Auditor will communicate audit results to management.
  • Perform other duties as needed by management.
  • Experience the variety of clients, projects, and situations that offer the best of learning environments for the Senior Auditor.
  • Grow as a leader and in the process, have fun, and develop lasting relationships.
  • The Senior Auditor will plan and perform audits and reviews in addition to any other related client needs.
  • Develop thorough and updated knowledge and application of generally accepted accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Auditor:

  • Minimum of 2 years of audit or assurance experience at another public accounting/CPA firm.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Auditor:

  • Highly analytical and strong communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline is required.
