Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is a growing service provider that offers a long-term career in the Boston area. They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$120k – $130k plus Bonus

Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst will assist in the preparation of financial reports, conduct analysis, collaborate to assess financial trends, and identify opportunities and risks. The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze key financial metrics to assist in the maximization of company performance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:

• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses.
• Analyze business performance trends, identifying opportunities and risks.
• Support financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights.
• Maintain and improve financial models and reporting tools.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Financial Analyst:

• 5+ years of finance or accounting with exposure to financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate data into insights.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Financial Analyst:

• SQL, Essbase, or Tableau experience.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
