Client Overview:

One of our well-established accounting clients is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their expanding team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr – $35/hr 

Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst will work with the Finance and Business teams to provide expense forecasts, seasonal budgets, monthly close, and monthly end reporting, as well as special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed. 

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst: 

  • Provide financial expertise to the business leaders to architect financial solutions that help track risks and opportunities. 
  • Develop models for sales and margin forecasting. 
  • Prepare presentations for executive management. 
  • Improve KPI management to ensure the business is tracking to targets.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Financial Analyst:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar with a background in financial planning, analysis, and modeling. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate financial data into understandable terms for business partners. 
  • Strong financial modeling skills are required. 

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Financial Analyst:

  • Attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
  • Organizational and time management skills.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 – 5 years of finance and/or general accounting experience are required.
