Our client is a fast-growing fintech company based in NYC. They are now looking for a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$200k – $250k plus bonus and equity

Position Overview:

The Senior Full Stack AI Engineer will join a growing Artificial Intelligence team and play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the company’s fintech platform. This Senior Full Stack AI Engineer role will build core AI capabilities, including virtual assistants in both voice and chatbot form, and implement the tools these agents interact with across the company’s vast platform.

Responsibilities of the Senior Full Stack AI Engineer:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions for the digital platform, utilizing a variety of technologies and programming languages.
  • Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to innovate and iterate on existing services and develop new ones, with a focus on enhancing the platform and offerings.
  • Build AI-driven features such as chatbots and voice agents using OpenAI SDK or equivalent technologies.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Full Stack AI Engineer:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of full stack app development experience.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, React, building REST APIs, and WebSockets.
  • Experience working in cloud-based microservice environments.
  • Experience building agentic AI features, including chatbots and voice agents using OpenAI SDK or equivalents.
  • Familiarity with RAGs or MCP servers and implementing tools for LLMs to utilize.
  • Excitement to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
