Our client, a commercial real estate company in Bergen County with a great culture and tons of growth opportunity is seeking a Senior Lease Analyst to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80,000 – $90,000

Position Overview:

The Senior Lease Analyst will review lease contracts to ensure they are accurate and meet all the required terms. The Senior Lease Analyst upholds the integrity of real estate portfolio data for large, complex portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities of the Senior Lease Analyst:

  • Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations and analyze variances
  • Inputs, maintains, organizes and reports on information regarding lease dates, dollar values and financial accounting transactions into a lease management software database
  • Manage relationships and liaise with external customers (Operations and Finance team, auditors)
  • Prepares, processes and reconciles AR & AP transactions to ensure accurate and current lease information is maintained
  • Resolves critical issues for clients by researching and gathering information about payment transactions, lease terms and other relevant items
  • Establishes and maintains working relationship with clients and/or landlords
  • Prepares lease abstracts and edits them for accuracy
  • Writes narratives for monthly variance reports, providing analysis and interpretation of lease information to clients
  • Prepares invoices for subtenants, reconciles subtenant accounts, reviews incoming invoices for errors/accuracy with lease document and ensures correct coding

Qualifications for the Senior Lease Analyst:

  • 2 to 3 years of progressive real estate Leasing experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is required
