Currently, they are looking to add a Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
Up to $150k Annually + Performance bonus
Position Overview:
The Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing will lead the transformation of the U.S. Field tactical purchasing process into a strategy-centric approach. This hybrid role, based in Atlanta, GA, requires 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote. The Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing will initially manage a team of five direct reports and is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, conducting sourcing events, and negotiating supplier terms. The role involves close collaboration with Sourcing teams, operational leaders, and Centers of Excellence to drive ROI, compliance, and risk mitigation across multiple spend categories.
Responsibilities of the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing:
- Leverage ~$300 million in spend and lead strategic sourcing events for Field, modernization, service/repair, and new equipment purchases.
- Manage and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, ensuring execution of sourcing events via eRFX, eAuctions, and other approved processes.
- Monitor supplier KPIs (Safety, Quality, Cost, OTIF) to mitigate business risk.
- Consolidate and analyze data to recommend solutions and drive business performance.
- Enforce spend compliance within supply chain strategies.
- Collaborate across sourcing, leadership, and operational teams to achieve company goals.
- Implement structured tail spend management approaches.
- Build strong relationships with internal decision-makers to support a world-class procurement experience.
- Develop strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Support supplier development, daily purchasing, expediting, and compliance activities as required.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing:
- 10+ years of sourcing and supplier relations experience.
- 8+ years leading procurement teams at the managerial level.
- 5+ years in the OEM elevator industry or similar business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, charting/graphing).
- Experience with ERP systems, Spend Data Analytics, eSourcing, eAuctions, and contract management systems.
- Strong understanding of purchasing policies and procure-to-pay (P2P) digital platforms.
- Skilled in stakeholder and change management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent managerial and organizational abilities.
- High integrity, dependability, and urgency in delivering results.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing:
- ISM CPSM, CIPS, or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
- Master’s/MBA is preferred.
