Position Overview:

The Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining pricing frameworks that drive profitable growth. This role requires strong financial acumen, the ability to interpret large and complex datasets, and the skill to translate findings into actionable business recommendations. The individual will partner with cross-functional teams – including Finance, Sales, Product Management, and Operations – to ensure pricing strategies are competitive, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities of the Senior Pricing Analyst:

  • Design and enhance pricing models, incorporating cost-to-serve, elasticity, segmentation, and competitive intelligence.
  • Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to assess the financial impact of pricing strategies.
  • Monitor pricing execution across markets, track performance, and identify risks of margin erosion.
  • Translate raw data into actionable insights using advanced analytics, forecasting, and trend identification.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to support pricing reviews, strategic initiatives, and quarterly business planning.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations that highlight pricing performance and opportunities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on pricing methodologies, discount frameworks, and margin optimization.
  • Support or lead the implementation of pricing tools and technologies, including testing, validation, and rollout of pricing logic.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by streamlining pricing workflows and enhancing data governance standards.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members when needed and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Pricing Analyst:

  • 5+ years of hands-on pricing experience in B2B industries.
  • Advanced Excel modeling (pivot tables, nested formulas, lookups, scenario analysis) with demonstrated ability to build scalable financial models.
  • Strong financial modeling expertise with a background in margin optimization, pricing structures, and ROI analysis.
  • Proven track record of working with large datasets to extract insights and influence business strategy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into executive-ready insights.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Pricing Analyst:

  • Familiarity with enterprise pricing platforms (e.g., Vendavo, Zilliant, PROS, Pricefx, Revionics).
  • Experience with workflow automation and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau Prep, Power Query, Alteryx, KNIME).

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required.
  • An MBA or an advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.

Benefits:

  • Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off).
