Atrium is partnering with a leading commercial real estate investment company headquartered in Orlando, FL. Our client has multiple locations and continues to expand. They are currently looking to add a Senior Real Estate Analyst to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$100k – $120k

Position Overview:

The Senior Real Estate Analyst will play a critical role in underwriting and financial analysis of potential acquisitions, developments, and existing properties. This role involves drafting detailed investment memos for key deals, conducting market research, and supporting senior management in strategic decision-making processes.

Responsibilities of the Senior Real Estate Analyst:

  • Conduct comprehensive underwriting and financial analysis for potential acquisitions, developments, and existing properties.
  • Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for key deals to be reviewed by senior management and investment committees.
  • Perform market research and analysis to support investment strategies and identify emerging trends.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and return metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, lenders, and Legal teams, to gather necessary information and ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Monitor and report on the financial performance of existing assets, identifying opportunities for value enhancement.
  • Assist in the due diligence process, including site visits, document review, and coordination with third-party consultants.
  • Support senior management in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Real Estate Analyst:

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, IRR, NPV, and other relevant metrics.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate markets, trends, and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise investment memos and presentations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis software.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Real Estate Analyst:

  • Experience with Argus, CoStar, or Salesforce Enterprise software.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or similar.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • An MBA or Master’s degree in Real Estate or Finance is preferred.
