Our client is a fast-growing fintech company based in NYC. They are looking to add a Senior Software AI Engineer to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$200k – $250k plus Bonus & Equity 

Position Overview:

This Senior Software AI Engineer will join a growing Artificial Intelligence team, and you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing their fintech platform. This Senior Software AI Engineer will build core artificial intelligence capabilities, including virtual assistants in both voice and chatbot form, and implement the tools these agents interact with across their vast platform.

Responsibilities of the Senior Software AI Engineer:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions for digital platforms, utilizing a variety of technologies and programming languages.
  • Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product team to innovate and iterate on existing services and develop new ones, with a focus on enhancing their platform and offerings.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Software AI Engineer:

  • 5+ years of full-stack app development experience.
  • Proficiency in NodeJS, Typescript, React, building REST APIs, and websockets is a must.
  • Comfortable with a cloud-based microservice environment.
  • Experience building agentic AI features, including chatbots, voice agents using OpenAI SDK or equivalents.
  • Experience utilizing RAGs or MCP servers and implementing tools for LLMs to utilize.
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
