Salary/Hourly Rate:

$60k – $90k Based on experience

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate for the Staff Accountant role will have a strong background in accounting practices and be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including the consolidation of multiple entities for financial statements. The position requires fluency in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

  • The Staff Accountant will prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
  • The staff accountant will reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • The Staff Accountant will ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to streamline accounting processes.
  • Conduct financial analysis and generate reports for management.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.

Required Experience/Skills for the Staff Accountant:

  • The ideal Staff Accountant must be Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Staff Accountant:

  • Experience with the consolidation of multiple entities for financial statements.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
