Our client is a global manufacturer and distributor in the cosmetics space. They are looking to add a Supply Planner to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr – $35/hr DOE

Position Overview:

As the Supply planner, you will be responsible for generating and maintaining a 12+ month forecast for multiple categories/brands under our umbrella.

Responsibilities of the Supply Planner:

  • Develop and communicate high-level weekly capacity and production plans based on demand forecasts or Sales Orders to meet overall customer service levels as well as finished goods inventory and non-quality cost targets.
  • Publish production and finished goods inventory plans to include the development and execution of the Colibri planning software models to solve for capacity and inventory using the demand forecast and agreed inventory policies.
  • Understand the impact on inventory and manage all factors such as product seasonality, discontinuation, and management of inventoried finished goods.
  • Monitor/update/analyze budgets/POWs as it relates to execution of component purchasing and filling to ensure project margins are maintained (or improved).
  • Coordinate to review capacity plans and manage scheduling optimization in line with specific SC policy and sourcing decisions (service, cost, and inventory).
  • Provide input into future S&OP processes. Work to identify and resolve supply, and capacity, with recommendations to support the business and operational planning needs over the 0-24-month horizon.
  • Determine root cause and preventive actions for any missed orders related to planning.
  • Continually drive to a more competitive position through continuous improvement of processes and systems.

Qualifications for the Supply Planner:

  • 3 – 5 years of supply chain experience.
  • Works in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management is required.
