Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k – $80k Annually.

Position Overview:

The IT Systems Administrator manages and supports the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance. This role provides expert-level support for Office 365, Azure, Entra, and Intune, and delivers high-quality end-user support within defined SLAs. 

Responsibilities of the Systems Administrator:

  • Provide advanced desktop support and resolve technical issues for end users.
  • Administer and maintain Office 365, Azure, Entra, and Intune environments.
  • Oversee security and compliance administration across IT systems.
  • Deliver IT support and troubleshooting within established SLAs.
  • Train end users on new technologies and best practices.
  • Document processes, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, backups, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging IT trends and solutions.
  • Windows 365 Cloud PC Management.
  • Endpoint security and management using the RMM tool.
  • Vulnerability management & remediation.

Required Experience/Skills for the Systems Administrator:

  • Over 5 years of experience in IT system administration.
  • Proficiency in desktop support and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced administration of Office 365, Azure, Entra, and Intune.
  • Strong background in security and compliance administration.
  • Experience providing IT support and training to end users.
  • Ability to meet and exceed SLA requirements.
  • Excellent communication and verbal skills.
  • Strong documentation and organizational abilities.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Systems Administrator:

  • Experience with automation and scripting tools.
  • Exposure to enterprise-level security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management methodologies.
  • Previous work in a multi-site or hybrid environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Security+, M365 Certification, Networking Certification) are preferred.
