Our client is a mid-size financial services and their team is now looking for a Talent Management Specialist.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$60k – $75k

Position Overview:

The Talent Management Specialist must be proactive and people-focused to help drive organizational success by fostering employee growth, engagement, and performance. This role will contribute to initiatives that strengthen our workforce, with a focus on training & development, performance management, employee relations, and strategic HR support.

Responsibilities of the Talent Management Specialist:

  • Collaborate with the VP, HR and leadership to address performance and employee relations matters, identifying root causes and recommending effective solutions.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual performance review cycle, including goal tracking, mid-year check-ins, Workday testing, and year-end evaluations. Prepare clear communications and supporting materials for each phase.
  • Facilitate employee offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews, gathering feedback, and identifying actionable insights to improve retention.
  • Support organizational change initiatives, such as restructuring, temporary assignments, or other business-driven needs.
  • Deliver and coordinate learning opportunities at both team and organization levels, ensuring development programs meet strategic goals.
  • Contribute to additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills for the Talent Management Specialist:

  • 0 – 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a talent management or generalist role.
  • Familiarity with employee relations and performance management best practices.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A strategic, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and plan ahead.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred.
