Tax Accountant

Our client is a well-respected, local CPA firm in Orlando, FL, providing accounting, audit, tax, and consulting services. Our client has a great track record of employee retention and growth. Currently, they are looking to add a Tax Accountant to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k – $80k

Position Overview:

The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing individual, S-corp, and C-corp tax returns. Knowledge of S Corps and partnership tax issues is required.

Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant:

• Preparing and filing individual tax returns
• Managing all tax compliance aspects for clients
• Speaking to prospective clients about the services they offer

Qualifications for the Tax Accountant:

• 5+ years of public accounting experience
• Knowledge of Lacerte or ProSystems Tax is preferred
• Experience with both personal and corporate tax returns

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• CPA designation is preferred but not required
