Tax Accountant

Our client, a well-established and local CPA Firm, is looking for a Tax Accountant to join their team! 

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $100k 

Position Overview:

The Tax Accountant will join an existing team to focus on individual and small business tax returns for some high-net-worth clients. There is an opportunity for advancement/client ownership in the years ahead. 

Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant:

• The Tax Accountant will prepare tax returns for various clients.
• Focus on individual and small business tax returns.
• Process 1040s, 1065s, and 1120s.
• Reconciliations and additional reporting. 

Required Experience/Skills for the Tax Accountant: 

• 5+ years of prior public accounting/tax experience.
• 5+ years of prior tax preparation experience.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Tax Accountant:

• A CPA or Enrolled Agent Certification is preferred. 
• Knowledge of Ultra-Tax is preferred. 

Education Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
