Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a VP Fund Accounting to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$140,000 – $160,000 plus bonus

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Fund Accounting to join their team in a key financial role. The successful VP Fund Accounting candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of financial reporting, audit, compliance, tax planning, and cash management. They will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and transparent financial reporting for our organization and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities of the VP Fund Accounting:

  • Prepare and evaluate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting for foreign subsidiaries, considering both local requirements and parent company guidelines
  • Manage intercompany transactions for a clear depiction of financial positions
  • Coordinate external audits and maintain internal controls for compliance
  • Collaborate with tax advisors for tax compliance and planning
  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Manage cash flow and banking relationships
  • Provide guidance and review work of accounting staff

Qualifications for the VP Fund Accounting:

  • CPA required
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
  • Familiarity with an ERP system

Education Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent is required
