They are looking to add a Women’s Associate Designer to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$75k – $90k Depending on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Women’s Associate Designer to join our client’s Creative team. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Designers to conceptualize and develop innovative designs for the women’s clothing line. You will contribute to all stages of the design process, from initial concept development to final product execution.

Responsibilities of the Women’s Associate Designer:

  • Collaborate with Senior Designers to translate conceptual ideas into cohesive and marketable designs.
  • Conduct trend research and analysis to identify emerging styles, colors, and fabrics.
  • Create detailed sketches and technical drawings using design software and traditional methods.
  • Assist in fabric and trim sourcing, as well as sample development and fittings.
  • Work cross-functionally with the production team to ensure design integrity and quality standards are met.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications for the Women’s Associate Designer:

  • 3+ years of experience in women’s fashion design, preferably in a similar role.
  • Experience in Women’s Woven, Cut & Sew Knits, Bottoms, and Tops.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
  • Strong sketching and illustration skills.
  • Excellent understanding of garment construction and fabrication.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field is required.
