Our client is an industry leading organization in the consumer products industry. They are seeking an Associate Chemist to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20 – $23/hr

Position Overview:

As an Associate Chemist, you will collaborate with colleagues to analyze and interpret data, troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory procedures. The Associate Chemist will actively participate in team meetings and the documentation of experimental findings to support research and development efforts. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory setting while contributing to the overall success of the team.

Responsibilities of the Associate Chemist:

  • Perform analytical techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and titration to assess chemical composition and properties
  • Utilize laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, and pipettes for precise measurements
  • Execute method validation and verification studies to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
  • Prepare and standardize reagents and solutions according to established protocols
  • Evaluate raw materials and finished products for compliance with regulatory standards and specifications
  • Conduct stability testing to assess product shelf life and compatibility under various conditions
  • Troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and optimize analytical methods for improved efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications for the Associate Chemist:

  • Proficient in conducting various laboratory tests, analyses, and experiments
  • Ability to follow protocols, record accurate data, and communicate effectively
  • Strong team member, able to collaborate cross-functionally

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline is required
