Our client, reputable company is looking for an impressive Bookkeeper to join their team on a temporary – project basis. This is an incredible opportunity for a professional to join a well-established organization.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25 – $35/hr

Position Overview:

The Bookkeeper will join a cohesive Accounting Department, reporting directly to the CFO. The Bookkeeper position that provides extensive exposure to the functions of general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable and help during a pivotal time of year.

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:

  • Handles vendor inquiries and research for variances, correct discrepancies
  • AP filing functions
  • Enter vendor invoices including but not limited to coding to the GL, scanning and attaching invoice copies to vendor ledgers
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable Billing inquires
  • Match invoices to checks, get approval, and distribute checks week
  • Assist with month end close and other duties as needed
  • Performs and assists with other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Bookkeeper:

  • 3 to 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel
  • Ability to meet deadline requirements and communicate effectively with non-accounting staff

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
