Our client is a purpose-driven nonprofit committed to strengthening the community through impactful mentorship programs. The organization connects caring adults with young people to inspire confidence, growth, and opportunity. Their work is rooted in principles of fairness, inclusion, and respect for diverse perspectives. Currently, they are looking to add an Executive Assistant to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr – $27/hr
Position Overview:
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO. This role ensures efficient day-to-day operations, manages key organizational communications, and supports the execution of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a mission-focused, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:
- Manage and maintain the CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents on behalf of leadership.
- Coordinate board and committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and preparation of financial reports as needed.
- Contribute to organizational projects, research, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Support office management duties, including supply ordering, vendor coordination, and maintaining organizational systems.
Required Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- 4+ years of experience as an executive assistant.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- Nonprofit experience is preferred.
- Experience directly supporting C-suite executives.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
