Lab Technician

Our client is an industry-leading organization in the consumer products industry. They are looking to add a Lab Technician to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $22/hr

Position Overview:

As the Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily laboratory operations, performing routine tests, completing formulas, ensuring stability of formulas and batches, and ensuring quality control measures are met. As the Lab Technician, you will collaborate with senior team members to conduct various analyses, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety protocols. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory setting while contributing to the overall success of the team.

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician:

• Prepare batches of product samples for testing and evaluation
• Conduct routine quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards
• Perform routine laboratory tests and experiments under the guidance of senior team members
• Support daily laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and inventory management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and improvement of products
• Record and maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, including detailed observations, experimental procedures, and results

Qualifications for the Lab Technician:

• A strong educational foundation in the sciences is essential for the role of Lab Technician
• Proficient in conducting various laboratory tests, analyses, and experiments
• Ability to follow protocols, record accurate data, and communicate effectively
• Strong team member, able to collaborate cross-functionally

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in a field such as chemistry or a related scientific discipline
