Procurement Manager

Our client is a not-for-profit organization looking to add a Procurement Manager to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$35/hr – $45/hr DOE

Position Overview:

This candidate for the Procurement Manager role will effectively source raw materials globally while building relationships with vendors and suppliers. We are looking for a self-starting, team player who is motivated by success and thrives in a dynamic collaborative environment.

Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager:

• Expedite purchases and maintain an updated delivery schedule.
• Negotiate with suppliers on key terms, including product cost, payment terms, production and packaging MOQs (minimum production and minimum order quantities), production lead time, and shipping.
• Identify, assess, qualify, and onboard the best products and suppliers to meet requirements.
• Responsible for continuous improvement of On-Time / In-Full metric as well as other replenishment, supplier performance, and cost savings metrics.
• Develop, implement, and improve upon procurement processes and procedures.
• Foster the necessary skills to mentor and coach new team members to enhance their career and professional development.

Qualifications for the Procurement Manager:

• 4+ years of experience in purchasing, product development, project management, and/or strategic vendor management (security of supply, risk mitigation).
• Previous experience using ERP systems like SAP, AX, Oracle, etc.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is required.
