Our client is a leading manufacturer of women’s and men’s apparel, known for their commitment to quality and innovation. They are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join their dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of their division.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$60k – $70k Annually
Position Overview:
The Production Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of the apparel production process. This position is responsible for managing vendor communications, overseeing purchase orders, and ensuring production timelines are met. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities of the Production Assistant:
- Coordinate and communicate with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials for sports apparel production.
- Manage purchase orders, including creation, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Follow up on delivery and production timeline issues to avoid delays.
- Collaborate with Design, Marketing, and Production teams to streamline workflows and resolve issues.
- Assist in developing project timelines and budgets for future collections.
Required Experience/Skills for the Production Assistant:
- Experience in production coordination or a related field, ideally within the apparel or sportswear industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Production Assistant:
- Experience working in apparel production.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
