Our client is an established fragrance company and is looking for a Production Summer Intern to work during the summer. They are looking for Interns for their 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr

Position Overview:

The Production Summer Intern will work in a production setting operating washing machines, transferring materials, weighing containers, and conducting inventory checks. The candidate will be trained on how to operate a forklift and pallet jack for warehouse purposes. Current college students are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities of the Production Summer Intern:

  • Operate washing machines that clean various production equipment
  • Transfer materials from tanks to drums and other containers
  • Weigh fragrance materials
  • The Production Summer Intern will conduct inventory checks
  • Perform inspections on equipment including drum runners, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation as needed
  • Handle hazardous waste and materials according to company safety procedures

Qualifications for the Production Summer Intern:

  • Comfortable working on the 2nd or 3rd shift
  • Ability to work for 10 – 12 weeks during the summer
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable lifting heavy objects

Education Requirements:

  • The Production Summer Intern should have a high school diploma or GED
