New York, NY, October 7, 2019 – Atrium ranked 9th in the mid-size category by Crain’s New York, in partnership with Best Companies Group, within their 2019 feature of New York’s Best Places to Work. Inspired by people and informed by process, Atrium empowers its workforce with all-inclusive talent management and technology. Since transforming the staffing industry in 1995 with its Applicant-Centric™ philosophy, the brand is recognized for its people-focused industry expertise, so it is not surprising that Atrium’s humanistic resources are also influencing its own workplace culture and community.

Rebecca Cenni-Leventhal, Founder and CEO of Atrium, said, “Long-known for our Applicant-Centric™ philosophy, I am excited and honored to also be recognized by our talented and dedicated staff for being employee-centric. This virtuous circle is a part of the vision I had when I began building Atrium more than two decades ago. Atrium is a work environment in which all voices are heard, and all are encouraged to grow with the company. I am honored to have employees who love what they do and where they work. Atrium is defined by our relationships, and our focus will always be people.”

Best Companies Group surveyed more than 20,000 employees working in the five boroughs to assess topics such as working conditions, benefits and corporate culture. The results were evaluated alongside responses from a separate survey of employers and workplace valuation experts who selected the qualifying companies, sorted them by the size of their local workforce and tiered the top 100 organizations.

As a staffing and managed service provider, Atrium is unique to other industries named among the top 100 Best Places to Work, because its community not only represents the culture of its New York City office, but also embodies the diversity of each unique job seeker and employer brand it supports. Celebrating 24 years as of September 2019, the woman-owned organization is a champion of supplier diversity initiatives and has been recognized as a top company in several publications, including the list of 2018 Women Presidents’ Organization’s 50 Fastest Growing Women-Led Companies in North America and Crain’s New York Business List of Largest Women-Owned Firms; and has garnered top honors on the Inc. 5000 as well as DiversityBusiness.com’s top Women, Diversity and Privately Held firms lists.

Crain’s New York revealed the survey results on December 6, 2019.
